2020 Best Solution for Acne, Wrinkles, Redness, and Really Good Skin
LED masks are one of those skincare tools you’ve seen all over TV, scrolled past on Instagram, and been tempted to buy approximately a dozen times in the drugstore. But you probably don’t own one. Maybe you guess they don’t actually work or they’re too good to be true. If LED masks cured acne, then they’d have gone viral, right? And, sure, there’s some truth to all that. LED masks won’t completely fix your cystic zits, whiteheads, wrinkles, or redness. But they can help—and even be a godsend if you have sensitive skin that can’t tolerate traditional creams and treatments.
“Light-therapy masks work by shining different types of LED light rays into your skin to help reduce inflammation and breakouts over time,” says dermatologist Mona Gohara, MD, associate clinical professor at Yale University.
“The blue lights can help kill acne-causing bacteria on the surface of your skin, while the red lights can help boost collagen production and decrease irritation.” Cool?
“Although at-home LED masks can help with minor acne and rosacea, they’re nowhere near as powerful or effective as in-office light treatments—or, better yet, prescription topicals and retinoids,” says Dr. Gohara. Still, they can’t exactly hurt either, so if you’re not super happy with your skin right now, try one of these top-rated, internet-loved LED masks.

How does it work?
LED light therapy uses visible wavelengths of visible light with specific skin benefits. Due to aging, skin disease or trauma, healthy skin cells are damaged and cannot be properly renewed.
The skin uses light as a source of energy to power the repair and recovery of damaged cells, or to kill bacteria in the case of acne treatment. Energy stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, promotes blood circulation and accelerates tissue repair. During treatment, you just lie under the light curtain and the device does all the work.
We use LEDs on every face. We first cleanse the skin, including the lactic acid whitening peel and, if necessary, the extraction. Then we enter the high side of the face and complete the LED for the entire session (20 minutes).
These treatments are usually an add-on to other treatments, but you can do your own LED treatment. Fees vary depending on where you go, but generally cost between $150 and $300.
It is most commonly used on the forehead, eye’s around, cheek, double chin, neck.

The recommended professional LED treatment regimen is six treatments every other week or two, followed by a maintenance treatment every two months. LED treatment is painless and relaxing, with a side effect in winter against seasonal affective disorder (SAD).

Step 2 Massage skin 2mins
Step 3 Use Quadrupole 3D for face and 3-polar RF for the eye’s around 2mins
Step 4 Apply moisture mask after step 3 with led photon therapy
Note: Do moisture mask for 3 days continuously for one treatment
Depending on the type of LED machine in the spa, it can take anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes. Some machines have a small head (about 3 inches wide) that must be kept on the skin for a few minutes and then moved to the next position. These treatments take longer. The other machine has a 7-inch square, and the therapist divides it into three parts on your face, so the treatment is much faster.
